Does anyone have any information on where 155223(*) DB Everett was stationed between March 1944 and August 1944.

He completed his first tour in January 1944, but No. 35 Squadron's Operations Record Book does not record him as being posted out, or on strength, after February 1944. When he returned to the squadron in August 1944 (to start his second tour) the ORB shows him as "posted in from PFF NTU".

I am not sure if that is where he was stationed for the entire period, or whether he had just attended a refresher course prior to being posted back to No. 35 Squadron.

There appears to be a lot of confusing information in books and on the web regarding him, so I am trying to get an accurate picture of his service (without having the expense of obtaining his service record, if possible)

Regards

Pete

Can not help you out on this one. But my fathers very last flight at 35 sqn was with "F/lt Everet" (?) But I guess it is the same man. It was on the 23rd of August1944 in TL-B. They were doing an "Y" - training (rout 7) and bombing. My father acted as an instructor, probably on the H2S set.

Best regards
