The follow page is taken from a pile of photo copies I have received from a former Fitter IIA on 218 Squadron. He spent 3 years on A Flight and used this document to record all the aircraft under his charge. Now, I don't think it was used for it's original purpose, has anyone seen this book before and was it issued to aircrew ?
Any pointers most welcome.

Smudger, I thought I had posted a link to your thread on No 3 Group, but I may have set up separate thread instead.
I am researching my late Father's war service and have traced his operational service in 199 Squadron from Aug 1943 to Jan 1944. I have him training as a WO/AG in the US in 1942, but I want to find which HCU and OTU he served in afterwards. I would appreciate any information - specific to him or general - which might narrow my searches at the National Archive.
Also his pilot in 199 Squadron Flt Sgt W Dodsworth was "screened" and posted in Feb 1944 after only 15 operational sorties. Any clues to how his crew (including my father) would have been re-assigned? My father was passed fit for overseas duties in August 1944, promoted Flt Sgt and was operational in 356 Squadron flying Liberators in India by October 1944. Apart from leave would he have any further training in the UK.
