Hello gentlemen,

my name is Rene ( in this forum = Karacho ) from germany and i´m member of Uwe Benkel´s " Arbeitsgemeinschaft-Vermisstenforschung" / Heltersberg.

The "AG" is an private organisation from Uwe Benkel, working since 25 years in germany to find lost WW-2-aircrafts and informations about the crewmembers.

Actually we try to locate the crashsites of following Lancaster´s :

Lancaster PD 265 / 514th Sqdr.

JI-G

pilot: Geoffrey C. France

crew: 2= POW / 4 = KIA

lost on 21.11.1944, near Moers / germany

Lancaster ED 353 / 83rd Sqdr.

OL-N

pilot: Jack Marchant

crew: 7 = KIA

lost on 20.12.1942 south of Duisburg / germany

Actually we have found the coordinates of both crashsites.

We will report here about our work in the next weeks....

greets

Karacho
