I have been asked by a relative of F/Sgt Moseley if I could find out a little more about him. It appears from his log book that he had a remarkable period in bomber command as a rear gunner and survived 58 opertions on three different squadrons. He was MID on 8th June, would anybody know the reason why?
His Bomber Command tour was:
Oct 1942- May 1943 No. 9 Squadron RAF Waddington-pilot Sgt Doolan
June 1943-August 1943 No. 106 Squadron RAF Syerston- pilot P/O Robertson
Oct 1944-Jan 1945 No. 214 Squadon RAF Oulton flying special duties ops in Flying Forts- Pilot F/Lt Wyver
According to my source he died yound in his 40's and he has no photos of him whilst with any squadron or any more details other than his logbook. Can anyone help with photos and more information arond his ops etc,
Many thanks for letting me have the Operations with 9 Sqdn, it was a hard time for Bomber Command at the time and he completed some dangerous operations.
Hi Moon,
That would be great, I have named the pilots he served with on each squadron, if you could name the full crew from each squadron that would be appreciated.

That's the full set, quite an eventful and interesting operational record, still searching for any crew photos that may be out there. His relation would love to have any copies.
Wyver joined N°214 sqdn on 01/09/1944 , he flew his 1st ops on 07/10/1944 , his last on 21/02/1945 , in total 31 ops

I am interested in 106 Squadron so can provide some photos of some of his fellow crew members for that period and information if you haven't found any in the last couple of years since your post?
I have a photo of Mo Moseley when he was a member of my father' crew in 214 Sqn. The pilot was FLTLT Ken Wyver. If the relative or yourself could email me at john.mclelland@internode.com.au I will and get a copy of the crew photo to yourself or the relative.
