Hi there,

- Donald Cooper -

My grandad was a P/O and then F/Lt with 102 Squadron from 1943 to 1944 with the majority of his duty being served in 1944.

Does anyone have any information on him at all?

The only thing that exists on the internet of him is on 102ceylonsquadron.co.uk and that's one page that has his name on because another vet remembers his name. Not much!

Thanks for any help in advance

Hello ,

I took a look at the ORB from N°102 Sqdn and found out that there was a Sgt Cooper D who flew as a 2nd pilot on Halifax JD165 to Mannheim on 23/03/1943.On 09/04/1944 he flew as a F/S to Lille in France onboard LW-295. On 27/04/1944 he flew as P/O to Aulnoy in France in JN-919.

His crew was

Sgt DT Twinn

P/O WF Lloyd

F/S CM Morris

Sgt K Graycott

Sgt C Rowley

Sgt HR Foster

Regards

Moon from Belgium
