Does anyone know where one might find copies of the Mission Maps, or navigational coordinates for individual bomber raids? I would like to be able to map out the actual routes flown by my uncle during his missions from Nov 1943 - Jan 1944 with 429 Squadron.
Probably the best place to get this information is in the Night Raid Reports. AIR 14/3411 contains the reports from Sept 43 to May 44. It will give the route used by the main force and sometimes a route map with combats pinpointed. It also gives a narrative on the operation, losses, enemy defenses and weather. Dave Wallace
