Which books written by crew members are good to read?

Hi,

I would like to read books written by bomber crew members like the books Bomber Pilot, Lancaster Target or No Moon Tonight.

It would be nice if you can send me a few hints to other books which are worth to read, thanks.

Marcel

ditto: there are few better than that one.

Jack Currie also wrote several books on his time with the PFF which are worth looking for.

Hi Marcel! My absolute favourite is Boys, Bombs and Brussel Sprouts by J. Douglas Harvey. It's one of the best accounts of the day to day life of Bomber Command aircrew, with a large dose of humour. Out of print I think, but I'm sure you could find a used copy on Amazon.ca (not sure if it was published anywhere but Canada....) Cheers, Clint.

I have to agree with the above books, for me the following are classics,

High Adventure, A navigator at War, by R.L.Austen.

The Eighth Passenger by Miles Trip

Three Stripes and Four Brownings by Bill Jackson
