Trying to find more information on this crew, I have a photograph of Flt. Sgt. Harold James Beattie RCAF A/B of the O'Brien crew.

Have names of rest of crew.

In looking at 166 ORB I can find only one mission for this crew 26.11.1943 Berlin, the mission they were lost on.

Lancaster Mk 1 DV387 AS-W.

Any additional information or photographs of other crewmembers would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

The Aussie on the crew Francis Edward Nowland 425347 both his service file and crash file are on line at our National Australian Archives, use the record search and then his service number 425347 and that will provide you the link. Hopefully that will fill in some of the blanks for you.
