Information please on Flt Lt William " Bill " Henry Holland POW Stalag 3

I am trying to trace the RAF wartime career of this officer. As far as I know while flying a Spitfire was shot down and captured in 1941. At that time think he was a flight sergeant subsequently promoted to F/L whilst a prisoner in Stalag 3 if that is possible. ?

smile Wow Dave that is fantastic, thank you so much. I have his Flying jacket with his name and rank and number written on the back.  He must have been quite a large guy to judge from the jacket as it fits me so happily I will keep and wear it in my MG. He was a Lieutenant when he marked his jacket which incidentally is in remarkable state of preservation with apparently little use or wear but as I read it he was a Sargent when he was shot down. I understand he was a POW for the duration and what I would love to know is at what stage he had the jacket ie did he have it during his incarceration or was he issued it on his repatriation. I would love to find a photo of him, know he was in 266 squadron but so far no luck. Thanks again Dave
