Our Branch have been given a framed signed print by the family of a member who sadly passed away recently to raise funds for the Wings Appeal.
The print (26 x 36), by the artist Howard Bourne, is entitled 'Fried Eggs Ahead Lads' and features two Lancaster bombers from 166Sqn coming into land over the Brocklesby Arch. The Lancaster in the foreground is ND 405 AS-C MK111 which was transferred to 166Sqn in Oct 1944. It also features the 166Sqn badge.
The print is pencil signed by the artist as ell as being copy signed by him. It is also copy signed by the following:

It has atyped history of the print and crew on the back, typed on 166Sqn headed paper.
