Hi

 

I'm researching an uncle that was MIA in Wellington BK464 on 11/4/1943 whilst serving with 166 in Kirmington. Can you advise me where I can hopefully locate a photograph, I understand that filming took place among the squadrons. I have tried through family, without success.

Hi Steve,

Sorry, cant help with any photo. You may be interested in the following information regarding BK464 brought down by flak arm.

166 Sqn Wellington BK464 :  hit by 4./schw. Flak Abt. 193 and 4./lei. Res. Flak Abt. 873, crashing near the petrol dock of Le Havre at 05.56 hrs.
