Video editing on MacOS

Any professional video editors there who can give me some advice? I'm interested in trying to learn video editing, but I'm worried that my iMac isn't he best choice for this. I see lots of software for this purpose on Windows, but I can't use it for obvious reasons.

Don't be scared, iMac is a great choice for video editing thanks to it's screen, and there are a lot of applications you can use for editing. To start, head over to onmac.net/windows-movies-maker-for-mac-best-alternatives/ and see if these programs look good to you. I had tons of fun trying my hand at video editing once I installed them on my MacBook, so I'm sure you'll like them.

I use a free video editing software on my PC. I have Windows OS installed, but on the website of the developer of this software, I found information that this program can also work on MAC OS. You can find out more about this here https://www.movavi.com/ . I advise you not to spend your money on buying professional video editing software, but try this Movavi product on your laptop. It seems to me that you will find this program quite user-friendly, functional and intuitive interface, so this is great choice for newbie
